On May 5th and 6th, the 7th Ocular Optics Conference was held at the Pátio da Galé, Lisbon, under the theme “Looking to the Future". The National Association of Opticians presented a luxury event, in a completely renovated format, which really stood out from previous editions. This new concept showed a bold and impressive event in a unique space, where visitors strolled, with no need for prior appointment, between the suppliers and participants in this conference. The digital presence of all the advertisers was a constant, in many audio-visual supports, distributed throughout the space.

As usual, SPJ wanted to be present at this event, making themselves available with a friendly meeting point, where our team was always at hand to attend all visitors and participants at this conference. In addition to the presence of our company’s main performer in the Optical Market - OPTICWIN, we presented several computer solutions carried out by our excellent partners, who accompanied us during these crucially important days in our leading market. We have partnered with Sophos, an essential partner in the security and computer protection field, OKI through which we provide excellent printing solutions and Fujitsu with their complete range of equipment, all indispensable partners in the services and solutions we provide to our clients.

Among the various initiatives and workshops planned, the presentation of the new Opticwin Software which will be implemented in 2017, will take place on May 6th at 3.30 p.m. in the Professional Hall. The Hall was filled with participants, where clients and friends attended the brief presentation led by Pedro Louro, General and Commercial Manager of SPJ Business Technology.

In a totally distinguishing event concept, regarding what this market concerns, we have fulfilled our mission and confirmed our role in the Portuguese optical sector.

Chiado Eyewear Factory opened on August 7th

At no. 33 Rua Garret, in the heart of Chiado, an impressive space was born: 800 m2 of optics, where fashion and glamour are a constant.

It is with great satisfaction that we have completed another great challenge, where our technical team’s responsibility has exceeded all expectations. A space that breathes image and technology, where our skills have enabled a turnkey solution. From the technical consulting stage to the implementation of the entire computer system, imaging solutions, security systems and video surveillance, this was without a doubt another ambitious project, achieved with great success.

Congratulations to our client, for the courage and excellence of this commercial space and our thanks for the trust you have placed in SPJ!
